- Fee of $10 per person, per class. Due in cash on the day of the lecture.

Anatomy of the horse; colouring and markings, body parts, hoof, and evolution of Equus. |

Basic Skeletal structure; anatomy of legs, unsoundness, foot structure, shoeing, use of studs, filling out passport applications. |

|
Demonstrations ; lung for testing, and schooling followed by lunging your own horse with education. 2 horses @ 20 mins, (sign up sheets will be posted in the office, school horse will be offered if you don’t have your own)Fee is $15 per participant.

Cleaning and grooming, hoof care, safety wounds, body language, leading, tying up, braiding, trimming. |

Dressage Clinic
- Riders will prepare tests that are given on the 17
- Session is 20 mins, they will ride the tests, be scores and criticized, and then ride the test again. Fee in $25 dollars a person. |

Feeding, bedding, digestive system, signs of colic. |

In depth feeding, balancing proteins, conditioning schedules (the how’s and why’s). |

Tack care, use, fitting. Turnout- rules and blanketing, Bandages- practice stable bandaging and polos. Boots-care and adjustment. |

Jumping position, gymnastics explained, distances, grid work, basic course design. * 2 nd test available for 2 nd dressage clinic (times available will be posted) |

Gaits, analysis of rider position, aids, basic equitation principles, rider potential, faults and corrections. |

Riders lunging position clinic; riders will lunged for 20 mins and given critique, exercise for relaxation, strengthen. (Good to use your own horse, school horses will be available).
