Lecture Series
& Rider Testing
We offer preparation and testing for the EC Rider Level program.
Lectures are held throughout the winter to prepare students for the horsemanship portion of the exams.
Exams are generally held in spring and fall.
Lecture Series Notes:
- Be on time
- Bring notebooks and pens
- Dress for barn and arena activities.
Fees:
* $25 per lecture for individual session.
* $120 for all 6 lectures in the series (prepaid by January 1/12)
* All fees are due at time of clinics.
* Pre registration for clinics is required for yoga & jumping clinics.
Lecture Times:
Levels 1-3 – 1:00 p.m.
Levels 4-6 – 2:00 p.m.
Levels 7+ – 3:00 p.m.

Work Parties
Throughout the year, Myrddin holds a series for work parties. these fun, social gatherings enable us to get our facilities prepared for:
- charity events
- seasonal change overs
- refurbishing the cross country course
Everyone's help is greatly appreciated either by lending us a hand or donating materials. (All Myrddin clients are expected to help out!)

How do I redeem by GroupOn Certificate
Step One > Go to the Instruction page here to choose you Rider level
(this is your level of experience. If you have never ridden then you would be Level One “A” )
Step Two > Choose which of he following dates would work for your schedule to attend class. If you have a package of 4 then you would attend the same time each week for the month that you have chosen. (ie. Level One ”A” - Monday at 7:00pm July 2,9,16,23 )
Level One “A” Choices (for riders that have never ridden or very little experience)

**** For those that have individual GroupOn certificates, you wil be fit into existing classes or Sundays at 2:00pm are set aside for individual GroupOns

Preparations for your First Lesson
1. You need to be at the barn ½ hour ahead of each class
2. You need your health card number to fill in the release forms
3. You need to have footwear that has a firm sole and a heel (no running shoes)
4. If you have long hair braid it or tie it back
5. You need to wear comfortable long pants (no shorts) and a top that has sleeves (please dress modestly... no halter tops, no spagetti straps and keep your shoulders covered)
6. Gloves are recommended
7. Myrddin has a selection of helmets you may borrow
8. If you are going to need a drink, bring that as well and any puffers you use
9. You may bring carrots and apples only as treats for the horses (nothing else)

From Hwy 401 and Trafalgar Road:
-> go north to Georgetown on Trafalgar Road. After going through intersection of Trafagar and Maple Avenue and crossing over two railway tracks, Trafalgar road stops at a "T" Junction. The sign says HWY#7 west to Acton.
->Turn left onto HWY #7 (it is also Trafalgar road at this point). Go approx. 4 km until you are approaching an intersection with a gas station. There will be a sign on your right that says REGIONAL ROAD #3 Trafalgar Road to BALLINAFAD and Brisbane
-> Stay right following Trafalgar Road to BALLINAFAD
-> Myrddin is 2km past Ballinafad on the left side Emergency # 5046
-> Turn off Trafalgar into parking lot
Notes: DO NOT put address in your GPS it will not recognise the address and will send you to Oakville
Emergency Numbers change order twice while you are driving... ignore numbers until you are past Ballinafad.
MYRDDIN is 25 minutes north of the 401, please allow lots of time to get here
