Lecture Series
& Rider Testing

We offer preparation and testing for the EC Rider Level program.

Lectures are held throughout the winter to prepare students for the horsemanship portion of the exams.

Exams are generally held in spring and fall.

Rider Level Testing Lecture

Lecture Series Notes:

Be on time
Bring notebooks and pens
Dress for barn and arena activities.

Fees:

* $25 per lecture for individual session.
* $120 for all 6 lectures in the series (prepaid by January 1/12)
* All fees are due at time of clinics.
* Pre registration for clinics is required for yoga & jumping clinics.

Lecture Times:

Levels 1-3 – 1:00 p.m.
Levels 4-6 – 2:00 p.m.
Levels 7+ – 3:00 p.m.

Work Parties

Throughout the year, Myrddin holds a series for work parties. these fun, social gatherings enable us to get our facilities prepared for:

charity events
seasonal change overs
refurbishing the cross country course

Everyone's help is greatly appreciated either by lending us a hand or donating materials. (All Myrddin clients are expected to help out!)

The Myrddin Short Course - September 11, 2011

Myrddin Short Course benfiting The War Amps Champs Program Join us for the 5th annual one-day Short Course Competition. Benefiting the War Amps Champs Program.

FANTASTIC PRIZES AND
RIBBONS UP TO THE 8TH PLACE!

This event is a great schooling opportunity for all!
Even if you have never tried eventing!

The winners of each class are determined from a combination of a dressage test and jumping phase.

Closing Date for Entries: September 6th (please note entries placed after the closing date may be subject to an additional late fee please call for details). Use standard OHTA entry forms.

ONLY OEF Memberships Required!!!

Fees: Only $ 80 per horse for both phases per any division, and only $30 per horse for dressage phase only. ($10 Ambulance fee, $3.50 Drug testing fee & HST will be added to each entry)

Christmas Gymhana

Christmas for Gymkhana for World Vision World Vision Fill a Stable - Each December, Myrddin holds a gymkhana with mounted games and jumping events for riders of all levels.

Games include the Candy Cane Relay, Garland Pairs, Sanat's Sacks, and jumping classes of Chase Me Charlie and the Myrddin Christmas Grand Prix. These activities are followed by our legendary "Pot Luck Lunch", the best meal of the year. Everyone brings their favourite recipes.

All proceeds are donated to the Fill a Stable fund for World Vision.

			Note: there will be no regularly scheduled Saturday lessons in August except August 6th. Students are encouraged to join other weekly classes.

	Oct.	6	Blythe Hill Hack leaving Myrddin at 8am.
		8-10	Barn Closed for Thanksgiving & Myrddin has a booth at Erin Fall Fair. See us there.
		16	Camp Joashua Horse Trials, a great introductor competition for everyone (beginner, pre-entry and entry levels - let me know if you want to go asap).
		23	OEF Conference Clinic Day
		30	Morning Rail Trail Ride and pot luck lunch.

	Nov.	6,7	Margie at Mark Todd Clinic. Monday classes will only be in the evening
		4-13	Royal Winter Fair
		13	Bring in the jumps, get ready for winter. 10am - 2pm. Margie's chili for lunch.

	Dec.	4	Myrddin World Vision Gymkhana and Pot Luck Lunch
		24-25	Barn closed. Detailed Christmas schedule will be posted later.

Annual Rail Trail Hack

Held at the peak of the fall colours, this is a beautiful fall hack, for riders level 4 and up, and a great lunch. School horses are available.

Ladies Fall Hack @ Blithe Hill

Held annually at Caroline & Jean Watson's Blithe Hill Nurseries, this is a spectacular hack with wonderful views. School horses are available.
